"My name is Anton Valeriyovich Maximov, and I have been a personal friend of Kuz for several years. Over the past few months, my friend and long-term client, Kuznetsov (kuz), has been battling a worsening and prolonged HIV infection. AIDS itself does not cause death directly but weakens and eventually destroys the immune system, leaving the body susceptible to severe illness or possibly death even from minor infections like the common cold.

As I write this, Kuz is alive and in a stable condition. Initially, we did not plan to disclose this information, hoping that the situation would improve and Kuz would be able to resume his duties. However, due to the unpredictable nature of his health, combined with recent events, Kuz has expressed to me that he no longer wishes to appear in public. The stress of his job is taking a toll on him in a way that makes it unsafe for me as a friend and colleague to allow him to return.

I would like to share a quote from a message he sent to Doll, which was forwarded to me today.

"[...] This is the second thing that has made me reconsider my career, the amount of time it consumes, the stress it causes [...], and the limited time I have left on this Earth and how I wish to spend it."

In summary:

Owner of the sharty amd Glorious leader of KolymaNET Yuri Kuznetsov has been gone for the past few weeks on what was previously a mystery trip to cuba, well turns out, Mr. Kuz went to cuba to see a doctor over HIV issues, and it seems that he's gotten AIDS (possibly gay). Realizing the stress of all this, he asked himself "do I really have the time for this?", which is honestly quite the fair point. Because of this, he's taking medical leave and handing soyjak ownership to Doll, a professional forklifter and authority figure of Kolyma

What's with the new owner?

Doll, (AKA Leonid Valerieovich Kozakov AKA Dolly doo) is a married American forklifter who is close friends to Kuz. He likes to make 'jaks to share with his wife, and maintains a QnA thread which he answers daily pretty much. Now, Doll is no new face. When Kuz went to Cuba, Doll took over as temporary admin and owner. He's quite friendly, and has handled various p-do groomercord operations decently well. His moderaters still suck tho and he's always removing them. But needless to say, his reception has been quite positive among soyteens.

what does this mean for http://soyjak.party?

Now, the sharty is still under Kolyma RULE, although now with a more consistent means of community communication from Doll. Kuz tended to just sperg out in community interactions. Kuz was also planning negotiations on the purchase of 4chan (for real), and that was meant to happen this July iirc. No idea if it will be cancelled or if Doll will have to step up and chat with the ricecel in charge of the 4chud himself (edit: seems like kuz will still be involved in this). Also, Kuz was recently revealed to shit up the sharty in his free time by flooding threads he doesn't like with bait, so we'll have to see if he keeps this up while in AIDS retirement. This is their 3rd owner now, so I think the soyteens will adapt to Doll's policies quite quickly.

How are the soyteens taking this?

Asides from some real Kuz haters, people feel sad for Kuz and wish him well. Some teens have already come to the conclusion that Kuz is faking his AIDS to datamine more or something.

Apparently this is in response to a twitter response calling a 2021 blue Raptor "very gay"
